MaineHealth and the MaineHealth ACO are pleased to offer a two-day foundational training designed for all medical assistants. The interactive training format features learning from content experts, practicing skills, asking questions as they arise, and connecting with fellow participants. This two-day event is geared for individuals who are seeking professional development in any healthcare setting. At the end of the training, participants will return to their healthcare settings with increased knowledge and confidence in providing excellent patient care.

Maine Medical Center has designated this educational activity for a maximum of 15.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This program has been granted prior approval by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) for 15 Category 1 continuing education unit(s).
There will be CME’s and CEU’s available for those completing the training. Upon completion of the two day event, attendees will be awarded with a paper certificate of participation. Additionally, each participant will receive an email with a link to an online evaluation. Once the evaluation is complete, CME’s and CEU’s will be awarded.
