         a) Develop an effective level of work incentives awareness
         b) Build knowledge of relevant tools and resources
         c) Identify strategies to develop work incentives awareness among colleagues and leadership at agency
         d) Identify strategies to assist colleagues and leadership at agency in developing their own knowledge
              of and access to relevant tools and resources

After the training you will be expected to...

  • Support your agency as it supports people toward employment. This includes:

         - Deliver at least one presentation of training material to agency leadership
         - Deliver at least one presentation of training material to agency staff
         - Consult with colleagues to support their efforts in encouraging work
         - Challenge myths and misinformation about work and benefits
         - Facilitate awareness of and access to tools and resources related to employment and work incentives
  
  • Support your clients by:

         - Reframe client questions about earnings limits to focus on earning opportunity
         - Identify at least one individual to assist utilizing Work and Benefits Navigation skills and resources
         - Document conversations with consumers within the consumer's case record
         - Challenge myths and misinformation about work and benefits
         - Facilitate awareness of and access to tools and resources related to employment and work incentives
    
  • Continue your professional development by:

         - Participate in at least 50% of remaining "Community of Practice" calls
         - Share experience and any questions about this work in "Community of Practice" calls
         - Maintain/ utilize available work incentives information from trusted resources to build
            awareness/knowledge
         - Maintain/ develop knowledge of local employment resources
