Welcome to the MaineHealth Childhood Immunization Education and Training Modules. The following modules make up a comprehensive curriculum comprised of interactive presentations and built-in knowledge assessments specifically designed to meet the knowledge and learning needs of clinical support staff involved in the administration of childhood immunizations.


General Learning Objectives: 
Upon completion of this module, the learner will be able to: 
  • Understand the role of clinical support staff in a childhood immunization program
  • Understand the science behind immunizations
  • Be able to communicate effectively and educate patients and their families about vaccines
  • Be able to confidently administer childhood immunizations from start to finish according to current recommended schedules, processes and technique
